The Gardening Project: 2009
Ok. This year I have a whole new plan for my landscaping efforts.
Anyone that’s been to my house knows I am not the best gardner around. I do it more for the love of actually planting something & watching it grow, more so than actually knowing what I’m doing. When gardening, I just do it, no overthinking allowed. Now, my philosophy has resulted in some rather colorful and unusual arrangements, believe me. Just ask anyone about the giant zinnias I planted that grew taller than my hubby and completely took over the mailbox (and the driveway)- LOL.
Now, after about 4 years of playing around, I think I finally got a plan that I can institute this spring, and will only have to maintain each year, as oppose to totally redoing it all. I can’t wait, I’m all excited.
Now, as soon as it stops raining long enough for me to put my new plants in the ground, I will be all over the new look for the yard. I’ll even have some before and after pics. I have one friend (and you know who you are) that has no faith in my skills whatsoever, and usually falls out laughing whenever I tell her what I did to the front yard.
Oh ye of little faith, be prepared to eat your words- LOL.

Wow. You’ve got a real challenge on your hands, lady! It’s not gonna be easy to plant things next to the GATEWAY TO HADES (a.k.a. the flaming grill!), LOL.
